FONTS WITH A TWIST
With this trend comes typography that breaks the norm. It follows a similar philosophy to Riso print: something is beautifully offbeat and imperfect. What is this imperfection? Anything that breaks the order: a single letter can be upside down, larger or smaller, in a different font or completely absent. It can be a few letters in a small text, following a different pattern than the other letters to reveal a different message. This is the perfect way to emphasize and draw attention to something specific.

CANDY COLORS
Because we are constantly flooded with digital content from every direction, it is becoming increasingly difficult for designers to create art, websites and apps that will stand out from the clutter. That’s why the visual appeal that will grab the viewer’s attention while scrolling is as important as the quality of the content.
And what are the best ways to make sure your design stands out? Bright color combinations that catch the eye. Skilled designers and digital artists who know their color theory are already rolling up their sleeves to create bold, impactful graphic designs with beautiful candy colors.

RISO PRINT STYLE
With the trends of boldness and a decades-long throwback resonating perfectly, it’s no surprise that the art of the risograph is making a comeback as both a physical and digital aesthetic. The decades-old risograph was originally created for office copying and administrative use. However, it quickly became a tool for artists and designers to create beautiful abstract art, posters and advertisements that are impossible to look away from. There are two reasons for this. First, we have those unique bright colors that other printers can’t produce. Second, the prints often have slight imperfections such as ink runs, inconsistent colors, unpredictable alignment issues or rough textures.

ART DECO
Amidst the bold colors, zany design and wild movement, one upcoming trend stands out with clean, strong lines as an organizing principle for design.
This is, of course, Art Deco, which combines class and machine age with clean geometry.
This art style emerged in the early 20th century as a direct response to Art Nouveau and the old ways. Its philosophy focuses on innovation, modernism and looking forward with robustness, quiet dignity and resilience. With all that has happened in the last couple of years, it’s no surprise that such philosophies are finding their way into art and graphic design.
So what exactly is Art Deco?
The easiest way to recognize the return of this beautiful style is to look for symmetry, geometry and simple but aesthetically pleasing works. Art Deco takes the unconventional and the anti-traditional and transforms it into geometric shapes and bold contours. Think of the aesthetic of The Great Gatsby.
